Perfect places for conviviality, the lawns of Paris offer an ideal place to meet with family, friends, colleagues or couples. Here is our selection of parks and gardens where you can enjoy your lunch in a pleasant setting. 

 

 Champ de Mars Park  

The Champ de Mars is the place to be for locals and tourists alike. With its breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower, the park offers you a green area of more than 24 hectares. Designed on the model of the French gardens, its perpendicular alleys are composed of many rare and remarkable trees highlighting the Parisian monuments that surround it. Be careful, you'll have to find your way around on sunny days !

 Montsouris Park 

Located in the 14th arrondissement near the Cité Universitaire, Montsouris Park is a great place to relax and the students' favorite place to walk. Everything is gathered to make you forget the effervescence of the city : the park shelters a lake and beautiful statues. Its 1,400 trees, most of which are over 100 years old, will allow you to relax in the shade. All in all, Monsouris Park is a relaxing place appreciated by picnic lovers for its tranquility.

 The Turlure Park 

A pleasant park in which you will enjoy an incredible view of the Sacré Coeur.  The Turlure park is a terraced garden divided into several parts. The upper terrace, the "Grand Salon", will allow you to take a break in the shade under the trees. The "Green Garden" houses the amphitheater which offers regular shows. The park is also a paradise for children, with games below for them to play. The Turlure park is the ideal place for a charming picnic near the main tourist attractions of Montmartre.

 The Buttes Chaumont  

The largest park in Paris has a special charm and offers a very romantic setting. It offers a panoramic view on the capital and more particularly on the Montmartre hill. It is an English-style garden with a lake and the small Belvedere Island accessible by a stone bridge or a wooden suspension bridge. This place is also home to several waterfalls, the largest of which measures 32 meters and leads to a cave. For nature lovers, the Buttes Chaumont park is the ideal place to spend an afternoon relaxing.

 Rives de Seine Park 

For an ideal picnic by the water and in the heart of Paris, take advantage of the 10 hectares of banks that are available to you, allowing you to fully appreciate the monuments along the river. With a length of 7 kilometers, the quays, now pedestrian, are punctuated with relaxation areas, sports facilities and play areas for children. The docks on the left side of the river take you from the Pont de l'Alma to the Pont Royal and those on the right side from the Pont Neuf to the Pont de Sully. It's up to you to choose your favorite spot !
