Celebrate the return of happy days with two events that mark the beginning of the month: "Rendez-Vous aux Jardins" and "Jardins, Jardin".  

 Rendez-vous aux Jardins from June 3 to 5, 2022 

For the first weekend of June, the Ministry of Culture gives you Rendez-vous aux Jardins around a theme at the heart of environmental issues "Gardens facing climate change". 

In France, more than 2,200 parks and gardens will open their doors to you and organize numerous events and meetings : guided tours, walks, demonstrations of know-how, games, theatrical events, etc. In short, a concentration of activities that promise you a poetic and committed walk !

Rodin Museum, Sculpture garden | Sunday, June 5 from 2:30 to 5:30 pm

Rodin, in his time, already used the garden to represent his sculptures. For its participation in the Rendez-vous aux Jardins, the Rodin Museum offers you the opportunity to understand the delicate alliance between nature and sculpture during a visit. 

Let yourself be guided by the scent of roses in this magnificent 3-hectare garden and enjoy the lawns for a picnic ! With your family, discover Rodin's world in a different way, in the form of a little treasure hunt, you can take part in the "Rodin's Garden" tour or solve the museum's investigation "The Mystery of the Broken Work".

Montmartre Museum, Renoir garden | Saturday June 4 to Sunday June 5 

The Montmartre Museum honors this year's theme, "Gardens in the face of climate change", by offering dedicated animations in the Renoir Gardens. 

Program 

Compost in the city workshop / Saturday June 4th 3pm

The objective is to share with you solutions to garden ecologically in the city : Learn how to up-cycle containers, know how to manage water, reduce your waste through compost. 

On reservation: 37€ /person - 70€ in duo

Stroll-Workshop in the gardens (4-9 years old) / Sunday June 5, 10:30 am

The Montmartre Museum will also offer children a workshop-visit that will begin with a stroll through the gardens, discovering the trees, the vines, the beehives, the vegetable garden and the small animals of the water lilies pond. The workshop will conclude with the creation of a small herbarium.

Guided tour of the Gardens / Sunday June 5, 3:00 pm

Embark on an experience mixing the history of the place and the discovery of the wild and cultivated nature of the Renoir Gardens, of Montmartre and its surroundings.

Museum of Romantic Life | Sunday, June 5 2:30 to 5:00 pm

Around a herbarium workshop, discover in a playful way the history and the role of the botanist as well as the importance of this profession in the face of climate change. Organized by the Horti Tutti association, this workshop invites you to observe and herbalize the plants present in the urban environment.

3 sessions: 2:30 pm / 3:45 pm / 5 pm. Free activity & free entrance within the limit of 10 people, registration on the day of the workshop. Family workshop, from 7 years old, material provided.

Musée Guimet | Saturday June 4 to Monday June 6 

The Guimet museum invites you to guided tours and readings with your family. 

An excellent opportunity to discover the renovated garden of the Heidelbach Hotel which houses an authentic chashitsu, a tea house, offered in 2001 by Japan and designed by the architect Nakamura Masao.

 Jardins Jardin from June 8 to 12, 2022 

In the same way as "Rendez-Vous aux Jardins", the association "Jardins Jardin", in partnership with the Louvre, invites you to a committed event ! The objective is to raise visitors' awareness of the challenges of nature in the city by highlighting all the initiatives in favor of the urban garden and nature in the city, in the service of well-being and biodiversity.

Located in the heart of Paris, in the majestic setting of the Tuileries Gardens, Jardins, jardin is the must-attend event for urban garden professionals and amateurs.

Around the theme "Extraordinary gardens", 1,700 m² will be specially arranged for this event, with a new plant scenography. Indeed, in order to offer you a journey in the heart of the city, several large gardens and ephemeral landscape installations will be designed by landscape designers, transforming the place into a real plant oasis.
