TOUR DE FRANCE 
July 1st to 24

After the centenary in 2013 and its 100% hexagonal course, the 2014, 2015 and 2016 Tours de France were the opportunity to take the runners on less traveled trails in England, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and in Swiss. In 2017, the Tour starts from Germany, in Düsseldorf, briefly passes through Belgium and will no longer leave the French roads.
As every year, the Tour de France 2017 finishes its race on the Champs-Élysées. The event will take place this Sunday, July 23, 2017, in the late afternoon, following a 21st stage length of some 113km.


HAUTE COUTURE FASHION WEEK 
July 2 to 6

Fashion Week arrives in Paris, after New York, London and Milan. The biggest Parisian couture houses will unveil their creations during the Haut Couture Fashion Week. It should be noticed that this year, the places where the parades take place are kept secret for the vast majority!

 

OUTDOOR MOVIE AT LA VILLETTE

Every summer, Parc de la Villette welcomes a large screen for outdoor screenings, movie theaters and special nights.


PARIS PLAGES 
JULY 22 TO AUGUST 13

Paris Plages is back on the banks of the Seine for a 15th edition! From July 22 to August 13, 2017, one of its three sites: Georges Pompidou (1st and 4th), La Villette (19th) and the Town Hall (4th) . The 2017 edition of Paris Plages promises beautiful surprises to Parisians, Parisians and visitors! Its widened perimeter, its extended duration and the arrival of the swimming in open water in the basin of the Villette will not fail to satisfy the small as well as the large.
